Vegan Hummus


Ingredients

  • 1 can of chickpeas (drained weight 400g)
  • 2 cloves of garlic (finely chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons of tahini
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons of freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon of ground cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Place the chickpeas, garlic, tahini, olive oil, lemon juice, cumin, salt and pepper in a food processor.
  2. Blend all the ingredients together until you get a smooth and creamy consistency.
  3. Taste and adjust the seasoning if needed.
