"Plantude Yongsan Branch" is a recently opened vegan restaurant operated by Pulmuone and has a unique and diverse menu. Among them, bracken oil stock pasta, roasted eggplant cauliflower salad, silken tofu in hell, assorted mushroom tofu gangjeong, and fried eggplant vegetable curry are especially popular. The atmosphere and service of the restaurant are good, and the taste and quantity of food are satisfactory. Overall, it is a good value for money restaurant and I recommend it.

Vegetarians seem to like walking for some reason. If you are full after enjoying a delicious meal at the Plantude Yongsan branch, we recommend taking a walk in Yongsan Family Park, a 30-minute walk away, for digestion. Yongsan Family Park is a cleanly maintained park in the middle of the city. It has a beautiful pond and cool bamboo grove.

After taking a walk in Yongsan Park, we recommend visiting the National Museum of Korea right in front of you. The National Museum of Korea is one of the best museums in Korea, consisting of 6 permanent exhibition halls exhibited by period and theme, and a special exhibition hall displaying various contents. The museum is in charge of a treasure trove of history and culture by collecting, preserving, and exhibiting domestic and foreign relics and cultural assets. In particular, it exhibits cultural properties that are preciously protected at home and abroad, attracting attention from domestic and foreign tourists.

alt
Currently, the Room of Thought (free admission) on the 2nd floor of the Permanent Exhibition Hall is a space where two Korean national treasures, the Bangasayusang, are exhibited together. This space creates a dark and tranquil atmosphere, and the solemn and lively appearance of the pensive bodhisattva statue awakens deep thoughts about human life.

alt
The Buncheongware and White Jasil on the 3rd floor of the Permanent Exhibition Hall exhibits gwiyal and makeup Buncheongware made by artisans of the early Joseon Dynasty free of charge. The works stimulate the sensibilities of modern people with the sense of rhythm created by improvised brush strokes, rough ear marks, and a free atmosphere. In particular, the subtle changes and beauty of the white makeup are highly recommended. In this space, you can feel the beauty and historical value of art created by the hands of artisans.
